HRT South from Sparrowhawk with lunch lakeside 6km 200m AFATP

From the Sparrowhawk Day Use Area, cross the highway (742), go up a hill (the steepest part of this route) on the High Rockies Trail (HRT) spur to the junction with the High Rockies Trail (~750m). Take the right trail at the junction to go to past waterfalls at the bridge. Follow trail with good views of Spray Lake. After about bout 1.7 km, take the RIGHT exit to “Spray Lakes Day Use Area” (~500 m) where you could have lunch by the Spray Lakes. Return by the same route or alternately, head north beside highway 742 to the Sparrowhawk Day Use Area.
