West Wind Pass – This distance and height gain is starting from Driftwood Parking which is 1.6 km north on 742 or 2.2 km south on High Rockies Trail. It is advised to take the right hand junction which is about 800 m up the West Wind Trail from the junction with the High Rockies Trail (see photo below). Although short this trail is challenging for some B2 hikers because of the steep gradient in places.
