Switchbacks on the slopes of Sulphur Mountain provide a steady uphill hike to a summit renowned for its expansive mountain views (5.5km). At the top, enjoy the 0.5 km boardwalk along the ridge ending at Sanson Peak where the Cosmic Ray Station is located. We will take an old fire road known as the Sulphur Mountain Westside Trail (5.4 km) to Sundance Trail, ending at the Cave and Basin National Historic Site (2.6 km).
