Trailhead is by Spurling Creek. Park 4.6km south of Three Sisters Dam on Hwy 742 (Smith Dorrien Trail) of the right (SW) side of the road. Unofficial trails. There are trails on both sides of Spurling Creek, take the one on the northwest side (left looking upstream). A couple of hundred metres up the trail there is a trail on the right marked with red tape which is the trail heading up to West Wind Pass take that one. Just before Wind Pass turn off to right to traverse a long way south to where the west face smooths out into grass and easy-angled scree.
