Trail start is West of Market mall. From Home Road, turn onto 52 Street N.W. ( one-way) . Parking lot is immediately right, watch out for the bike lane. Note the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway pathway marker. NO services within the park.
Trail is mostly a paved trail, gradual decent into the park. There are gravel side paths off the main trail to see the water treatment features.
There is an option to return via a hilly side trail–for the more adventurous. (7.3 km.) (Not advised if it is wet as the mud is greasy and there are water filled areas.)
This Newly designated park officially opened on June 26/19. There has been $26 million investment in state of the art storm water treatment which has encompassed art and function in the process.
