Steep with some gravel on the trail down from Yoho Pass. Can be route-finding challenges crossing the delta to Emerald Lake – several small stream crossings – keep to the right (west) to go around the west side of the lake which is faster with better trail than the east side.

Terrace Trail 9.9km 300m 1-way

A few viewpoints along the way. Lots of ups and downs. Net elevation gain only 40m. Can go out and back from Kananaskis Village for a shorter hike . Daffern Vol. 1 #29 Connects Ribbon Creek and Galatea Creek.  

Troll Falls-Ruthie’s-Hidden, 7km 150m

There are several options for hiking from Kananaskis Village. Can be dropped off at Ribbon Creek parking and hike from there or start from Kananaskis Village Daffern V1  10  At 4-way intersection on Troll Falls Loop Hay Meadows right; Ruthie’s Trail left
