From Black Prince parking, across Smith-Dorrien to access High Rockies Trail, turn left on HRT. After parking in the Black Prince parking lot, you’ll need to walk 300m back to the Smith-Dorrien Highway. Carefully cross the highway and you’ll find the sign for the Blackshale Suspension Bridge trailhead a little to the left.
Boom Lake: 10.5 km, 200 m
Out & back hike. Gradual and easy ascent leads through a picturesque forest to a large alpine lake surrounded by mountains.
