Hike to Black Prince Lake in a cirque below the north face of Mt. Warspite and along the ridge above the lake(s). In summer, lake dries up to smaller lakes. Daffern V1 – 99

From Black Prince parking, across Smith-Dorrien to access High Rockies Trail, turn left on HRT. After parking in the Black Prince parking lot, you’ll need to walk 300m back to the Smith-Dorrien Highway. Carefully cross the highway and you’ll find the sign for the Blackshale Suspension Bridge trailhead a little to the left.

Out & back hike. Gradual and easy ascent leads through a picturesque forest to a large alpine lake surrounded by mountains.
