Ski from and return to the Discovery Centre
Many options for a trip from the Discovery Centre.
Ski Moraine Lake Road 17 km return, 250 m
Start from the Lake Parking Lot, ski the road to the Lookout, and then ski down to the Village for an extra 4 km.
Ski Peyto, Lower Telemark, back up Peyto, Fairview, then Tramline to village, 20 km, 250m
Starting from the LL parking lot – go down Peyto to Lower Telemark, then ski LT and go back up Peyto to the start of Fairview. Then Fairview and along Moraine to the Tramline. Can add skiing the Campground Loop if time allows.
Ski Peyto, Lower Telemark, Great Divide to BC Border and back to Village 25 Km 300 m El Loss.
Start from the Lake Parking Lot, or from the Great Divide Parking Lot. Can combine with Peyto and Lower Telemark trails for a very enjoyable day. Add 4 km to ski down to the village.
