Silverton Falls, 2km 110m plus Castle Junction 1km
Short hike that branches off near start of Rockbound Lake trail. Can walk back to store at Castle Junction for refreshments and/or walk to the bridge to see the Osprey nest on it.
Simpson Pass from Sunshine Village; Return via Healy Creek Trail to Sunshine Parking Lot 11.9 Km, 200 M Gondola UP Only
Drop off and pickup: Sunshine Village Parking lot Ride gondola to Sunshine Village. Use Meadow Park Trail and hike to Simpson Pass (no chairlift ride) and down the Healy Pass Trail to the parking lot. Elevation gain estimated 200 m. Elevation descent estimated at 650 m.

Ski – Bow River Loop 6.6 km
Beautiful loop along both sides of the Bow. Minimal elevation gain. Snow can be thin at times. Sometimes walkers mess up the north side part of the trail near the Village. Don’t forget to stop in at the Hostel for a bowl of soup or coffee (or beer!)
Ski – Fairview to Moraine Lake Rd, AFAP, Tramline to Village 17-20 km
Start from the Lake Parking Lot, ski the road to the Lookout, and then ski down to the Village for an extra 4 km.
Ski – Fairview to Moraine Lake Rd, Tramline to Village 23 km, 400 m
Start from the Lake Parking Lot, ski the road to the Lookout, and then ski down to the Village for an extra 4 km.
Ski – Fairview, Moraine Lake Rd, Tramline 17 km, 250 m
Start from the Lake Parking Lot, ski the road to the Lookout, and then ski down to the Village for an extra 4 km.
Ski – from WWL as far as time permits
Many options for a trip from WWL, including returning to the lodge for lunch.
Ski – Great Divide Trail (15 km, 100m) return to LL or ski Tramline to Village (21 km)
Option is to ski the Great Divide and then return to the bus or ski down the Tramline to the Village.
