Daffern vol. 1 (4th edition), hike#40 – Opal Ridge South Long, steep trail to ridge with some scrambling involved with loose rocks. The last 2km is a ridge walk. Not suitable for people with vertigo or fear of edges and ledges.

7th edition #167 Out & back

Follow the Three Isle Lake trail (Daffern V1 – 71) to the Palliser Slide, at the junction of trail 71 and 66 (Upper Kananaskis Lakes circuit)

Possible detour to Lake Annette if time permits Drop off and pickup: pull out approximately 200 m south of Paradise Valley parking lot on the outside of the bend just north of Paradise Creek bridge. It is off the paved road and large enough to load and unload.
