Mesa Butte – Curley Sand Loop – 10km 470m
Nice forest trail, then steeper ascent on open hillside to top of butte. Go up clockwise. Can return on other side of butte and down into the valley, but this is often very muddy. Mesa Butte is sometimes referred to as Square Butte. Daffern V4 – 64

The distance shown assumes going down the ‘shortcut’ trail to the Plain of 6 Glaciers trail; you can go to the end of Highline Trail which intersects with the Plain of 6 Glaciers trail adding about 1.5km to the distance.

Moraine Lake Shoreline Trail 3.7km 100m
Features gorgeous views of the bright blue water of the iconic Moraine Lake and snow-capped mountain peaks all around. The trail is partially boardwalk and partially packed dirt. Most of the trail has a grade less than 5% but the steepest sections have up to a 15% grade.
