From Sheep Station, Long Prairie Ridge trail, south & west onto Death Valley trail back to highway. Cross highway at Sandy McNabb Campground. Through campground to get to trail up onto Sandy McNabb Hills with several tops. Return through ski trail area (Loggers Connector and part of Loggers Loop) to Sheep Station. Ski trail names are not always marked and trails on the Sandy McNabb hills are unofficial and not marked at all, so helpful to have someone in the group who is familiar with the hike. Loggers Connector trail can be very muddy; best when ground is still frozen. Good B1 hike.
