Bus pick up is at Montgomery Community Centre Parking Lot. Bus departs at 8am sharp.

Drop-offs – PLPP Discovery Centre, William Watson Lodge, Upper Lake Parking Lot (bus will remain at the Upper Lake parking lot during the day)

Bus Fare is $25.
The bus will be cancelled if there are fewer than 40 registrations. Registration begins on Thursday, Jan 2 at 6pm and ends at 6pm on Tuesday, Jan 7. Persons cancelling after 6pm on Tuesday will be responsible for the Bus Fare.
Please contact the Day Leader to volunteer to lead a option or to request a specific option.
Bear Spray, poles, skis and snowshoes MUST be stored under the bus. There is a box for Bear Spray in one of the bins. It is important that all gear should be labelled with your name.
If you wish to join the outing, but drive yourself to the trailhead, please register with your choice of activity AND email the bus coordinator to ask them to move you to the ‘Car’ list.

Be prepared. It is your responsibility to come with food, water, and appropriate clothing and gear, with allowance for changes in the weather.
Skiers:
A/B1: ski from the Upper Lake to Elk Pass then to WWL via Tyrwhitt, Pocaterra, Lynx, Amos and Wheeler.
Note that the bus will remain at the Upper Lake parking lot so there is the option to ski from and return to the parking lot. Just let the day leader know that you are interested in doing this and as long as there are 4 or more it will be fine.
B2: ski from WWL on Wheeler to the Whiskey Jack Junction and then return to WWL for lunch. After lunch one could ski Lodgepole to the junction with Braille and back up Brail to the Lodge (this would add about 6 Km and some elevation)
C: Ski various trails from WWL – e.g. Wheeler as far as desired and back on Amos;

A/B1: Snowshoe from the Discovery Centre to the Penstock Loop via Canyon, then go to WWL via the Lower Lake Trail and the WWL Connector WWL, 12 km and about 200 m.
B1: Snowshoe from the Upper Lake Parking lot to Rawson Lake with the option of adding on the Everest Trail, 12.5 km and 400 m.
B2: Snowshoe from the Discovery Centre via Canyon to the Lower Lake Trail to theWWL Connector to WWL. 6.1 Km and about 100 m
C: Snowshoe from the Discovery Centre via Canyon, Lower Lake Trail to the Marsh Loop to WWL. 5.5 Km and about 100 m. The trip can be shortened by using the Bill Benson trail to the lodge rather than the Marsh Loop.
C: Snowshoe or walk on various trails from WWL
Snowshoers would have the option of doing additional trails from WWL after lunch.
