This event is for C+/C level hikers. Limit of 10 participants.
Participants to drive themselves to Surprise Corner parking area, east end of Buffalo Street. Exit #1 at Norquay road, follow Lynx to end and turn left towards traffic lights. Proceed straight thru lights along Buffalo street for 1.6km to Surprise Corner. ( Note: Banff Ave. CLOSED to vehicles). Get there in time to start hiking at 10:00 am.
Bring or buy a Park Pass as this is in the National Park.
Will hike from Surprise Corner to the Hoodoos Viewpoint, 9.2km return, 115m elevation gain.
