This event is for C+ and C level hikers. Limit of 10 participants.
Participants to drive themselves to Bow Valley Provincial Park, Middle Lake Parking. Get there in time to start hiking at 10:00 am.
This will be a wildflower identification and appreciation hike starting from the Middle Lake parking lot, along the Moraine Trail, then the Bow River Trail, then to Whitefish Day Use Area (for lunch), then do the Many Springs loop and back to Middle Lake parking lot via the Elk Flats Trail. This is about a 6.5 km loop and 75 m net elevation. It will be a C/C+ slow pace so we can enjoy the wildflowers.
