Bus pick up is at Montgomery Community Centre Parking Lot. Bus departs from Montgomery at 8:00 am sharp.
Washroom break will be at the Village Visitor Centre. After the washroom break the bus will drop off those people starting from Ribbon Creek parking.
Bus Fare $25. The bus will be cancelled if less than 35 are registered. Registration begins the Friday before and ends at 6:00pm on Tuesday before the hike. Cancellations after 6 pm on Tuesday will be NO-SHOWS and will have to pay the Bus Fare.
Currently the weather forecast is for 3 to 5 cm of snow on Monday through Wednesday followed by sunshine and a high of about 2C on Thursday. This is of course is subject to change.
Hiking/Snowshoeing/Skiing options will be offered for all levels. As noted above if there is a request we will arrange a pickup at the Ribbon Creek Parking lot.
Please contact the Day Leader to volunteer to lead a hike or to request a different option.
The distances and elevations for the snowshoe options are estimates, if you have better data please let the day leader know.

- Masks must be worn when on the bus (except briefly when eating a snack or taking a drink). Passengers are to remain in their same seat at all times except for the Day Leader or others conducting Board business.
Bear Spray and hiking poles MUST be stored under the bus, preferably labelled. There is a box for Bear Spray in one of the bins.
If you wish to join the outing, but drive yourself to the trailhead, please register with your choice of activity AND email the bus coordinator to ask them to move you to the ‘Car’ list.
