This event is for B2 and C+ level hikers. Limit of 20 participants. John Boyd will lead one group. Art Johnston will lead the other.
Meet at the Elbow Pass parking (on Hwy 40) at 9:00 am or earlier. Parking lot fills by 9:00 so get there early so you don’t have to park in the ditch along the highway. (approx. 1.5 hour drive from Montgomery) in time to start hiking at 10:00am. If everybody is there early, the groups can depart early.
Approx. 10km, 287m climb (2.8km 137m to just go to the lake).
Bring radio and bear spray if you have them.
