This event is for A level hikers. Limit of 10 participants.
Participants to drive themselves to Evan-Thomas Parking on Hwy 40. Get there at 9:15 am in time to start hiking at 9:30 am.
Reportedly great views climbing the open, bald ridge. The hike route climbs steeply to south end of Old Baldy and then works it way up and along the ridge to the north end and high point. Hike will return the same way. 11 km, 865 m EG return.
Note: depending on weather conditions, may substitute Hummingbird Plume from Ribbon Creek. Weather forecast on Saturday shows Hi -4, Lo -7 mainly sunny https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/weather/alberta/kananaskis
Bring icers, radio and bear spray if you have them.
