This event is for C level hikers.
Drive yourself to Parking Lot up 14th Street NW, north past Calgary Winter Club, approx 1 km to first turning left / west. There is a left turn lane off 14th Street north bound. See map at: https://maps.calgary.ca/PathwaysandBikeways/ Meet in parking lot at 9:45 am to begin hiking 10:00.
Nose Hill is the highest point in Calgary with lots of views, west to the mountains and south to Downtown, but also open to the elements. Dress appropriately. Lots of hiking trails of varying length but the trail proposed by Anne Norberg, group leader is 8.7 km which will take 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
Bring icers, radio and bear spray if you have them.
