This event is for C level hikers.
Drive yourself to Griffith Woods Parking Lot at 160 Discovery Ridge Blvd SW, turn left onto Discovery Ridge Link SW. Meet in parking lot at 9:45 am to begin hiking 10:00.
Griffith Woods trail has a mix of paved & gravel walks, which could be icy depending on the weather this week. One hiking loop of is 4.8 km through mixed forest around the perimeter but it is possible to add another 2 km loop around the beaver pond. There is a nice coffee shop close which is frequented by some of the local walkers.
Bring icers, radio and bear spray if you have them.
