Biffy Break at Canmore Nordic Centre (CNC). Drop offs – #1.at CNC to snowshoe to Grassi Lakes Trailhead ( Snowshoers A/B1/B2) .#2 Goat Creek if road is feasible (skiers A/B1/B2) bus will wait 1 hr then return to CNC for day. Pick ups #1 Banff Springs Hotel for Goat Creek skiers #2 Canmore Townsite (south side 10th Street between 7th and 8th Ave) #3 CNC.
Bus Fare $25; Bus will be cancelled if less than 35 registered for the bus
Bus departing from Montgomery at 8:00 AM Sharp
A valid Canada Parks Pass is required. Check your website profile to be sure your Park Pass information displays. (or bring $10 extra if you do not have a pass). Skiers staying at CNC will have to buy a CNC pass.
Spikes/traction devices are recommended if you you intend to walk rather than ski or snowshoe.

Note: The current wet snow and freeze thaw conditions may make Goat Creek unsuitable for any skiers. A/B1 skiers may have to ski at the Canmore Nordic Centre. If Goat Creek skiing goes ahead pickup will be at the Banff Springs Hotel. You must complete the route so be prepared with adequate clothing, food and water. Goat Creek participants will have 4.5 hr. Those staying in Canmore will have approximately 6 hrs if Goat Creek doe ahead.
Canmore Nordic Centre fees for cross country skiing are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors +65. I will arrange a group discount.
Snowshoeing routes are currently being revised so that all or some start at the Canmore Nordic Centre (CNC). If you have already registered you will be advised of changes.
