As we did last year, our Annual General Meeting will be held on-line via Zoom at 10 AM on Thursday, April 14. All members, both Full and Associate, are encouraged to attend and vote on the new board and the motions that will affect the future operation of our Club.
More information will be sent out, including the detailed agenda and link to join the Zoom meeting and how to vote. Other information will be posted on the website.
Please register in advance, so we know that we’ll have a quorum for the meeting (66 people).
If you would like a refresher on how to participate in the on-line meeting (how to vote, etc.), a refresher session has been scheduled for 9am the day of the meeting. Please register for that event if you wish to attend.
Besides the regular agenda items, this AGM includes several motions that will affect all members, and you should vote on:
- Move that the Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club have one only bus pick-up point.
- Move that the Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club will continue our COVID-19 Protocols, in particular that all passengers provide proof of vaccination, and wear masks while on the bus. The Board is given permission to modify the protocols based on the circumstances in the community.
- Move that the Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club will remove the maximum limits on Full Membership. There will continue to be two levels of membership, Full and Associate. Full Members will be required to participate in a minimum number of bus trips and outings as set by the Board.
