*UPDATE* Limited to 20 people, registration ends Sunday at 7:00pm. This is a B1 hike. Most of the trails are unpaved, some narrow with roots. There are long uphills with steep sections both up and down. Sturdy footwear is recommended and you may consider bringing poles. Parking at the trailhead is very limited so we get together at a larger parking lot and drive from there with as few vehicles as possible to the trailhead. The larger parking lot is near the Valley Ridge Outdoor Rink and Sports Court on Valley Meadows Close which can be reached by taking the Valley Ridge Boulevard NW exit from the Trans-Canada Highway, turning right on Valley Ridge Boulevard and taking the first right again. The parking lot is on the right side.
City Hikes start at 10:00 am and usually finish around noon. Please arrive at the Parking area 15 minutes early so we can start on time. If you have any questions, cannot find the parking area or cannot be there on time please call or text Peter Dankers at 587-777-1924.
