Daffern v1 – 96 plus loop return
Hike/snowshoe up Snowdrift from Sawmill parking. Turn right onto old logging road about 1.8km from start. Hike up to lake, passing through the end of a 15km avalanche runout. Return to Snowdrift trail then turn RIGHT to do the longer loop back, further on Snowdrift, then turning left onto Frostheave Trail about 4km along, which connects onto Graupel/High Rockies Trail (900m). Turn left onto Graupel to parking lot (approx. 5.5km). There are some rough sections on this return route, so not suitable for B2’s.
