Bus pick up is at Montgomery Community Centre Parking Lot. Bus departs at 8am sharp.
Biffy Break – Canmore Visitor Centre
Drop-offs – Johnson Lake, Lake Minnewanka and Banff Train Station
Pickup points – Lake Minnewanka and the Banff Bus Station or the Train Station.
Bus Fare is $25 plus an additional $10, if you do not have a National Park Pass.
The bus will be cancelled if there are fewer than 40 registrations. Registration begins on Thursday, Feb 13th at 6pm and ends on Tuesday, Feb 18th at 6pm. Cancellations after 6pm on Tuesday will remain responsible for the Bus Fare.

Bear Spray, poles, skis and snowshoes MUST be stored under the bus. There is a box for Bear Spray in one of the bins. It is important that all gear should be labelled with your name.
If you wish to join the outing, but drive yourself to the trailhead, please register with your choice of activity AND email the bus coordinator to ask them to move you to the ‘Car’ list.

Be prepared. It is your responsibility to come with food, water, and appropriate clothing and gear, with allowance for changes in the weather.
Options:
Skiers: Ski along the Cascade Valley Winter Trail ( Cascade Fire Road) to the Spray River Bridge or onward to the Stoney Creek Cabin. It is also possible to ski along the road to Upper Bankhead and back.
Snowshoers/ Walkers: There are several options for snowshoeing or walking from Lake Minnewanka or from Johnson Lake. There is also the option of walking in or around Banff.
