This event is for A/B1 level hikers.  Limit of 10 participants considering Alberta Regulations. Later registrants will be on Wait List.

Participants to drive themselves to Sheep Provincial Park Headquarters lot which is approx 18.5 km along Hwy 546 from Turner Valley 4 way stop. Get there at 9:45 am in time to start hiking at 10:00 am. 

Hike is generally in the open with a number of Hills and great views. 12 Km return, 500 m elevation gain – lots of ups and downs in a loop starting on Long Prairie Ridge and Foran Grade trail to Sandy McNabb hills; returning through the Sandy McNabb ski area.
Weather forecast for Turner Valley on Thursday is sunny, High 9, Low of -1.

Bring icers, radio and bear spray if you have them.  Plan for some snow and some icy conditions on the trail!

In registering for this outing, I agree to abide by the Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club policies and safety guidelines. Guests are welcome but they must sign the waiver form (if they haven’t already) and return by email or text to the Day Leader.
