This trip will start from the Lake Louise Train Station. We will ski up the Tramline (4.5 km, 180m) to the Great Divide Trail. Then ski the Great Divide to the end of the trail in Yoho (or as far as desired). At the end of the day we will ski down the Tramline to the Train Station.
The total distance, if we make it to the end of the Great Divide would be about 29 Km with a total of about 380 m in net elevation gain.
Meetup time will be 9:30 AM at the Train Station with a 9:45 AM departure.
The forecast calls for a partly sunny high of about -3C on Thursday with no new snow.
If you want to only ski the Great Divide please let Eric know. If you are willing to lead we can set up an option to do that. Note that the Great Divide trail is a maximum of 20 Km return if you go to the end of the trail in Yoho.
