This event is for B1/B2 level hikers.  Limit of 10 participants.

Meet at Boom Lake parking lot at 9:45am (approx. 2 hour drive from Montgomery Community Centre); be ready to start hiking at 10:00.

10.2 Km return, 175 m elevation gain.

Travel on a heavily forested trail featuring some of the largest subalpine trees in Banff National Park. Your ultimate destination is a pristine lake (possibly ice covered) backed by an impressive mountain rampart.

In registering for this outing, I agree to abide by the Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club policies and safety guidelines.

Bring bear spray and radio if you have them. Remember your icers! Remember your National Park Pass
