Biffy Break – Canmore Visitor Centre, first DROP OFF – Johnson Lake, second DROP OFF Lake Minnewanka, where the bus will remain for the day.
Bus Fare $25 plus $10 for trips into the National Park if you don’t have a National Park Pass. As we are currently in a “grace period” until January 15, 2026 no National Park Pass fee will be collected. The bus will be cancelled if there are fewer than 40 registrations. Registration begins the Friday before and ends at 6:00pm on the Tuesday before the hike. Cancellations after 6 pm on Tuesday will be responsible for the Bus Fare.
Please contact the Day Leader to volunteer to lead a option or to request a specific option.
Bear Spray, snowshoes, skis and ski poles MUST be stored under the bus. Bear Spray must be labelled with your name on it. There is a box with a secure lid for Bear Spray in one of the bins. Be prepared for possible weather changes and winter trail conditions.
If you wish to join the outing, but drive yourself to the trailhead, please register with your choice of activity AND email the bus coordinator to ask them to move you to the ‘Car’ list. If the bus is not full, then you must pay the 25.00 bus fare.
Please ensure you choose an activity option before pressing ‘Register’. Click on the Location below to get more details of the hike and a link to a trail map.
