Skiing:

A/B/C Burstall Pass – this is not track set. It is more suitable for people with back country skis. It’s not likely that many will try this option but it’s here in case some want some adventure. Most won’t get to the Pass but can get to Robertson Flats and then turn south toward Robertson Glacier. Proceed as far as time allows.

NB Steve Whittington has offered to be Hike Leader and will talk about his option on the bus on Thursday. Steve is a very experienced, knowledgeable hiker, skier and back country specialist.

A/B/C Discover Centre at Peter Lougheed Park –  head out  and do the many trails in the area: Braille, Sinclair, Lodgepole, or go Meadow, Wooley, Amos and Wheeler.

Snowshoe:

A – bring snowshoes as you will likely need them once you get past the Elephant Rocks

B -Ice grippers will likely be sufficient to get you to the Lake and back

C – NB NEW C  OPTION ADDED

# 6 option for Cs

Chester Lake Parking Lot across the road to Hogarth/Mud Lake followed by an out and back down the Sawmill trail after lunch (OPTIONAL). About 8.4 Km total and minimum elevation 90 metres

Ice grippers will likely be sufficient for hiking along the scenic Hogarth/Mud route. Jane Heward will be Hike Leader.
