Meet at Indian Oils parking (14km past winter gate on Sheep River Trail SR 546 west of Turner Valley) at 9:15 am (approx. 1.5 hr drive from Montgomery) in time to start hiking at 9:30am. Pit toilets at trail head.
Approx. 15km, 600 m climb.
Some route-finding and bushwhacking involved. Cross Dyson Creek (on stones).
Will do a loop including Spaulding Point.
Bring radio and bear spray if you have them.
