BOULTON BRIDGE TO ELK PASS – distance 15 – 20 km depending upon choices
9:30 meet at the Boulton Bridge Parking lot. 9:45 am departure.
Ski up Whisky Jack to Elk Pass and return via Elk Pass Trail and Moraine. Option to ski Blueberry if conditions are good and group interested.
Directions: drive west on Hwy 1 to the Kananaskis (Hwy 40) turnoff, and continue south, turning right just before the winter gate. Continue on past William Watson Lodge to Boulton Bridge parking lot. Drive time from Montgomery is approx 1.75 hours, depending on construction delays and road conditions.
Bring radio if you have one.
There is a biffy at the Trailhead and also at Pocaterra Hut & Parking Lot. If using Hut, wear a mask.
