The Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club provides seniors (55 years and over) in the Calgary area with opportunities to walk, hike, snowshoe or cross-country ski in the mountains year round.
Welcome!
Most Thursdays we travel by bus to the mountains or foothills. You are welcome to join us on an outing as a guest. You can learn more about our club by checking out the About Us page. If you use the Contact Us page we will be happy to send you additional information or sign you up for a trip.
Land Acknowledgement
The Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club acknowledges and has the privilege of experiencing the traditional lands of the Indigenous Peoples of Treaty 7 territory which includes the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Blackfoot Confederacy Nations and the Metis Homeland of Alberta.
Occasionally, the ESOC travels into British Columbia to the unceded territory of the Kootenay / Ktunaxa (k- too-nah-ha) and Sepwepemc (shuhwhep-emc) Indigenous Peoples and the Metis Homeland of British Columbia. With gratitude, we travel the trails of reconciliation together.
